This exquisite 2.55 Chanel double flap bag is made of aged black calfskin with silver hardware. The 2.55 is one of our favourite Classic Chanel items. The bag, known as the 2.55 was created in February 1955 by none other than Coco Chanel. The beautiful Bijoux (jewellery) chain and hardware is finished in silver palladium. The interior has two pockets on the inside of each flap. In the Main flap on the bag you will find an internal zip pocket and three compartments including the middle lipstick holder. Coco Chanel designed this special space in the handbag so that every woman had a place for her lipstick at the easiest of access without having to search through the entire bag. Worn on the Shoulder or full crossbody, This Chanel 2.55 is seasonless and perfect for day to night accessorizing!
